Teleste has signed a frame agreement with a major US cable broadband operator and received first orders for its next generation 10G capable cable network technology

Teleste has signed a frame agreement with a major USA cable broadband operator for the supply of broadband network technology in the USA, including 1.8 GHz amplifiers and Distributed Access Architecture nodes.

First orders have been received, and product deliveries are expected to commence mid-2023.

The 1.8 GHz technology will enable end user speeds of up to 10 Gbps over existing cable network infrastructure and allows for efficient and cost-effective network upgrades. Teleste has been doing extensive research and development towards CableLabs© DOCSIS 4.0 specification.
