Digital Realty Appoints Steve Smith as Managing Director, Head of Americas

Digital Realty, the world’s largest cloud- and carrier-neutral data center, colocation and interconnection solutions provider, has announced the appointment of Steve Smith as Managing Director, Head of Americas. Smith will oversee Digital Realty’s operations in the Americas and will be responsible for enhancing its value proposition by offering a full range of data center solutions on PlatformDIGITAL, the world’s largest meeting place for companies, technologies, and data.

 

Smith is a veteran of the data center infrastructure and enterprise software landscape, bringing more than 25 years of management experience across enterprise software, network, and data center infrastructure. He is joining Digital Realty from CoreSite, where he was Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for the customer lifecycle, including sales and sales engineering, marketing, and new product innovation.
